A lot has happened in the past week for mommy, baby and daddy.
To begin, we have gotten lots of gifts for all this past week. Blankets (our first gift from Regina!!), photo albums (Thank you Julie and Deanna!!), an adorable pregnant precious moments statue ( thank you again Julie!!), books for the parents to be (thanks Jill, I can't wait to have some reading time on my trip!!), beautiful flowers (Thank you Ron & Judy!!), and last but certainly not least, money towards the baby's future (Thank you dad!!) and the most adorable first outfit (Thank you Mickie!!) and my first maternity outfit (Thank you again Mickie!!).
Baby V had a busy week this past week! He/she started forming a heart, stomach, liver, kidney, digestive system, circulatory system and nervous system. Eyes and ears also started forming!
As for me, I have definitely felt some tiredness this past week! Little nausea here and there but nothing too awful. Definitely the best reason to not feel well is the way I think of it. I rather have that little bit of nausea then not!
Lastly, Daddy turned 32 this week. He was happy to celebrate his birthday knowing he had a little boy or little girl on the way. 32 is going to be a big year for him!
6 Week Appointment
Today (tuesday) was the six-week ultrasound/bloodwork appointment. The most exciting part of all (besides seeing how big the baby got) was seeing the little heartbeat beating! I was unable to hear it beat, but I saw it! And LOVED every minute of it.
Week 6
Baby is the size of a sweet pea
118 1bs as of 6/10/14
