Week 7

Week 7 started off in Disney! Therefore my weekly appointment got moved until Thursday. My ultrasound appointment was one of the 3 reasons I was so super ok with leaving Disney (Jordan and the cats being the other 2). They say Disney is the most magical place on earth and I completely believed that until Thursday June 19. My appointment started off normal, bloodwork first. I was happy to see that it was my favorite nurse taking my blood that day, she was the most gentle.

After a short wait I was called for my ultrasound. I entered the room and it was FREEZING. The air was on full blast. Ironically, this was the longest I have had to wait in the room for the dr. But it was all worth the wait when I saw this:

I couldn't believe my eyes. It was the most magical thing I have ever seen and heard! I asked the dr to let me listen again so I could record it for Bryan, and thankfully that is how I have this most perfect video of it.


The doctor's instructions were to decrease the dosage of progesterone I was giving in my nightly shots. I was to go from 1ml to 1/2 ml. She also instructed me to make an appointment with my regular ob-gyn! I couldn't believe it was almost time to graduate over to my regular dr! She also said to come back in a week. Can't wait for my 8 week appointment!
